Many people have wondered the identity of Kincaid Banten, a Twitter account which opened up and has continually attacked the WWE Performance Center, NXT, and made allegations of corporate cover-ups for Bill DeMott abusing the talent, allegations of Joey Mercury doing drugs, and the strength trainer sexually harassing all the women under the employ of the WWE.
The account spent a lot of time taking a verbal dump on DeMott, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, and other developmental talents, mocking their manner of the overuse of hashtags in tweets such as #hungry #humble #blessed and #wwepc.
Admittedly the Kincaid account started out funny and over-the-top. The guys at Asked, Riv & Landin, were asked to help with the account by retweeting it a lot and telling anyone who questioned its validity that it was real. And a few people were stupid enough to actually believe us when we said that Kincaid Banten was a legitimate NXT talent. We even were accused many times of being the people behind Kincaid Banten. We never asked for anything in return for our aid; we were cool about it. Until one day we found ourselves all blocked by the account after Landin said he was even funnier than one Hot Young Briley on the show. Not in a demeaning or insulting way, either. Landin made a casual comment and - boom - we get blocked. I would have probably let it go personally but I felt after blocking us the casual, slightly-under-the-radar racist "Telemundo" tweet was pretty insulting.
So I don't feel bad putting this clip out there where Riv & Landin revealed Hot Young Briley Pierce/Ryan Nemeth/whatever-you-want-to-call-him is in fact the man behind the account on Episode 188 of Asked with Riv and Landin. Hope you enjoy the antics that ensued.
